Meet the Doctor

Dr. George has been helping people live pain since opening his clinic in Lakeville in 2001. His practice is based on the philosophy that the body has the innate ability to heal itself. His mission is to restore normal physiology and anatomical alignment allowing the body to heal itself back to its balanced state. He provides a wide range of therapies in his treatments including manual and mechanical adjustment, Electrical muscle stimulation, exercise instructions, lifestyle modifications and nutritional counseling. The combination of treatments used by Dr. George provides a conservative means to treating problems. Today many Americans are seeking alternative methods of caring for their health and are finding that it is often successful. Dr. George's purpose is clear "my goal as a physician is to help my patients improve their health and their lives".

Dr. George is a 2000 graduate of Palmer College. He received his doctorate in Chiropractic and earlier received his Bachelor's Degree in Science. As a senior he was selected to go on a three week humanitarian trip to India with 30 of his classmates. Dr. George and his classmates treated over 25,000 people, ranging in age from infants to seniors in the villages and surrounding cities with a variety of different health concerns. During his internship at Palmer Clinic Dr. George offered chiropractic care at the Palmer Outreach Clinics in Davenport Iowa to families, hospice patients and to staff members. He was responsible for managing the majority of TMJ disorders for the entire clinic. Dr. George has continued to further his education on TMJ through multiple continuing education seminars and hands on practice.

Dr. George opened his office in 2001 in Lakeville, MA. and has successfully treated thousands of patients in the surrounding communities. While building his practice, he served as a fill in doctor providing medical/maternal leave and vacation coverage for other chiropractic clinics. During the first three years he worked in Boston in some of the largest personal injury practices seeing nearly 100 injured people per day and better learning the proper care and management of mild to severe automotive injuries. In Conjunction with caring for trauma involved patients he had the great opportunity to cover for Dr. Mike Miller, (the chiropractor to the New England Patriots). While covering for these clinics Dr. George provided everything from family care to correcting sports injuries.

Dr. George is well known for his care with difficult cases as well as for promoting wellness care for people who realize true health is more than the absence of symptoms.

Dr. George has happily been with Acushnet Company since 2005. He initiated the chiropractic program for what it is today at Acushnet Company. What first lead him to Acushnet Co. is his expertise in correcting Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and other cumulative trauma syndromes. Dr. George focused years of continuing education on extremity adjusting (arm, knee, wrist, etc.) and other cumulative trauma disorders. He also completed advanced training in the function and healing of the adrenal glands, balancing blood sugar, balancing female hormones, treating pre and post menopause naturally, as well as balancing male hormones. He took this interest years ago when assisting several of his patients back to health and being limited by standard Western Medicine. As a chiropractor with experience he is committed to promoting health and living a life drug free.

Dr. George has been a Board Certified licensed Chiropractor in Massachusetts since 2001.
